Compost The Rich

Compost The Rich an ‘effigy’ built on stolen land was a tiny subversive act of rebellion built at an event called Burning Nest which takes place on the land of a british aristocrat. Built by a group of friends who wanted a space of wonder and whimsy to play in and a giant fire to behold.

The Temple of Connection

The Temple of Connection was designed to encourage human connection and was made using some new materials and some non recyclable plastic that was collected for 6 months before the project was built. Inside there was a toy box filled with things intended to encourage human connection through play and things to leave notes, intentions or any other expressions behind to be burned. Built at The MicroBurn 2019.

The Shipidy Bipidy

The Shipidy Bipidy was a temporary interactive art piece that was conceived and made by a small group of dedicated, creative artists; Laura JayneBrynjúlfur þorsteinssonEmma MoffatLea AltrHugh Cresswell and Paula Shanahan. I led the design and organisation of the piece and Laura and Emma led the design of the musical instruments, created with everyday objects, that would be placed inside the ship. We built the Shipidy Bipidy at the participant led event called Nowhere.

Unfortunately my camera was stolen in Barcelona before I backed up any of my pictures of The Shipidy Bipidy but luckily the fantastic photographers Jack Davolio and Haroon Chowdry captured many beautiful moments at the ship.
